Imagine a surrounding of original raw limestone walls, white plaster, Italian clinker illuminated by soft small crystal chandeliers and discreete spotlights.

Imagine a warm spring, tiled in Gotlandic soft polished limestone mosaic. Continue to imagine yourself sitting there in the 37 C warm water, sliding down with your shoulders under the surface, lean back, breathe out all stress and just enjoy. That is relaxation.

The small sauna fits approximately 5 -6 persons and is tiled with a blue stone clinker and the traditional Finnish wood of aspen. The water bucket has about the same age as the house, made in the early 19th century. We found it in an antique store in Danish Skagen.
The warm spring and sauna can be booked privately in advance, or the same day for resident guests. We may also provide drinks (in non-breakable glasses).

SPA-treatments can only be reserved by guests resident in the rooms located in house “The Bishop´s Bath” (a matter of space), or in the bath when private reservations are made.

In the Medieval Visby, bath establishments were quite common, look at the portal of the school of Saint Hans (on the street Sankt Hansgatan only a minute from the hotel) and you will see the former entrance of a Medieval Bath from around 1280! As our bath is located next door to the residence of Gotland´s Bishop, we had to name it “The Bishop´s Bath”.
