The picture above portrays the Northern Moats (Nordergravar) with towers from the late 1200. You can also see a wrecked part of the wall, dating 1525 when the fleet of Lubeck attacked Visby. The ring wall of Visby is Europe´s most well preserved original medieval city wall.
